Latin dancing is not only a wonderful way to get your body moving, but you’ll find that it transports you from your everyday into another world. The lively beats and Latin rhythms whisk you away to a paradise where every ‘pasito’ (tiny step) is a celebration of life and joy.
Everyone takes Latin dance classes for different reasons and no one journey is the same. Yet, within the classes, there is a sense of family and community, as the music and dance brings everyone together.

Latin Dance Technique
There is no such thing as two left feet; but there is such a thing as the right teacher who is able to break down each movement into tiny digestible steps…or ‘pasitos’. This makes a complete movement easier to grasp, ensuring that anyone can learn to Latin dance with confidence and grace.
LEADER
A leader’s role in Latin dance is to guide their partner through every step. The analogy often used is that they are a picture frame showcasing their partner’s movements where each movement is led by the leader’s intentional use of connection and tension (push/pull) between them and their partner.
FOLLOWER
A follower’s role in Latin dance is to listen to the lead with all their senses and follow through in their body movements. The analogy often used is that they are the picture inside the frame and are on display for all to see. They must maintain their frame and the resistance within it to allow the leader to guide them properly.

Learn the vibrant rhythms of Salsa, Bachata, and Merengue in a fun, no-pressure environment—no partner needed! Whether you're stepping onto the dance floor for the first time or refining your moves, you'll feel right at home in our supportive and inclusive community. Just show up, dance, and let the music take over!
