Janice is a seasoned Latin dancer with over two decades of experience in the art form. Her journey with Latin dance began over 20 years ago, igniting a passion that has only grown stronger with time. Throughout her extensive career, Janice has not only honed her skills on the dance floor but has also become a dedicated teacher, sharing her expertise with students of all levels.

With over a decade of teaching experience under her belt, Janice has developed a special talent for breaking down complex dance movements and explaining intricate techniques with clarity and precision. Her ability to demystify the subtleties of Latin dance has earned her the admiration of her students, who appreciate her patient and insightful approach to teaching.

But Janice’s classes are more than just lessons in dance—they’re a vibrant escape from the realities of day-to-day life. Infused with her infectious passion and enthusiasm, Janice’s classes are as energizing as they are educational. She believes in creating an environment where students can not only learn and grow but also have fun along the way.

The reason Janice decided to start offering classes in Bolton is simple: former students couldn’t resist coming back for more. Over time, many of her past students began reaching out, expressing a desire to continue their dance journeys under her guidance once again. Additionally, being a resident of Bolton herself, Janice saw an opportunity to give back to the same community she’s raising her family in—to be an integral part of its cultural and recreational fabric.

Janice’s commitment to taking life one step at a time is reflected in the name of her company, Pasito Dance. “Pasito” means small step in Spanish, symbolizing the philosophy by which Janice approaches both dance and life itself—taking small, deliberate steps forward, each one contributing to a greater journey of growth and self-discovery.
